Band of Angels Instrument Donation Program Thank you for your interest in donating to Band of Angels Music Instrument Collection Program.
Band Of Angels was formed as a partnership between Fox 4 TV and Meyer Music. Our goal is to collect music instruments and to help fund the purchase of musical instruments for use by children in need who want to study music. All instruments collected will be refurbished and put in playing condition to be used by a student in need. In many cases, a child’s family does not have the funds to obtain an instrument. If you wish to make a tax deductible donation you may contribute to the Band of Angels Fund managed by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Saxophone, Drums, Xylophone, Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Oboe, Bassoon, Tuba, Guitar (NO PIANOS OR ORGANS WILL BE ACCEPTED)  Your contribution to Band Of Angels will help to give the gift of music that will last a lifetime. 1. Studies show that the scores of elementary instrumental music students on standardized math tests increased every year. 2. Music education helps shape individuals & decreases use and abuse of all illegal substances in youth. (teen drinking, ect.) According to a Gallup survey, 95% of Americans believe that music is a key component in a child's well-rounded education. Please help in supporting music education by making a donation to Band of Angels, and giving a child a chance to learn music.
