Make an Investment in Education and Life-Long Learning

Taking private music lessons from Meyer Music impacts far more than musical talent. The skills students’ gain by learning to play an instrument has a positive effect on school performance and lasts well into adulthood.

No one understands that more than family-owned Meyer Music. Our founders, Ted and Betty Meyer, were both educators in local school districts before they founded Meyer Music. Since 1966, giving private music lessons to Kansas City area students has been the backbone of our business.

No music store offers more music lessons than we do, and our vetted, qualified instructors work with students of all ability from beginning to advanced. Since you’re never too old to learn something new or improve your technique, our instructors are just as skilled at teaching mature students, as they are school-aged children.
